Promotion Overview
Information on how to enter and the prize are part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Aera $25K Towards Your First Home Promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All times stipulated in these Terms and Conditions are based on New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) or New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT) as the case requires.
Eligibility
Subject to condition 3 of these Terms and Conditions, this Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
The following are ineligible: (i) employees (and their immediate family) of the Promoter, Aera 22 Opco Limited (“Aera”). Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
The following are ineligible: (i) employees (and their immediate family) of the Promoter, Aera 22 Opco Limited (“Aera”). Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion Period
This Promotion commences at 7:00 AM NZST on 25/02/2025 and ends at 11:59 PM NZST on 31/03/2025 (“Promotion Period”).
How to Enter
To enter this Promotion, eligible individuals must, during the Promotion Period, undertake the following steps:
• Be an active member of Aera and completed their member profile online at aera.nz.
• Have an Aera app account set up and verified their identity with their Credits Dashboard synced before March 31st, 2025.
• Find a suitable property and sign a conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement (S&P) with a vendor using the First Home Finder service during the Promotion Period.
• Be an active member of Aera and completed their member profile online at aera.nz.
• Have an Aera app account set up and verified their identity with their Credits Dashboard synced before March 31st, 2025.
• Find a suitable property and sign a conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement (S&P) with a vendor using the First Home Finder service during the Promotion Period.
Process
Once entered in this Promotion, the following steps will be used to establish the promotion winner:
• Once the first S&P agreement is declared unconditional by both the vendor and respective member, the member’s Aera Credits™ balance will be increased to $25,000*, payable towards their first home deposit.
• Where there are multiple members with conditional Sale and Purchase Agreements executed, they will qualify for the $25,000* value ranked in order by the Sale and Purchase Agreement signing date (the “Unconditional Date”).
• Where a S&P is not declared unconditional within its stated conditional period, the $25,000* value will return to the prize pool for the next ranking member.
• Where a previously first-ranking member is replaced by the next ranking member, the previously first-ranking member’s Aera Credits™ balance will return to the amount otherwise earned to that date.
• Aera reserves the right to extend the Promotion Period if a first ranking S&P does not get declared unconditional within the period.
• Once the first S&P agreement is declared unconditional by both the vendor and respective member, the member’s Aera Credits™ balance will be increased to $25,000*, payable towards their first home deposit.
• Where there are multiple members with conditional Sale and Purchase Agreements executed, they will qualify for the $25,000* value ranked in order by the Sale and Purchase Agreement signing date (the “Unconditional Date”).

Limits on entry
One entry per person will be permitted. The entry will only be valid once the Sales and Purchase Agreement (S&P) is confirmed and verified by Aera NZ.
ANNOUNCEMENT DETAILS
The promotion will close on 02/04/2025 at 12:00 PM NZST at the Aera NZ offices, Auckland, New Zealand.
The winner will be notified via phone and email within two (2) business days of the close. The winner’s details (first initial, surname, and suburb) will be published via the Aera NZ website and social media channels after notification.

Prize
The prize is a cash prize of NZD $25,000, which will be transferred via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the winner’s lawyer’s nominated New Zealand bank account for the purpose of payment towards the qualifying unconditional S&P only.
Within the Promotion Period there is one (1) $25,000 prize on offer.
The winner must provide their lawyers details to Aera NZ for the prize transfer. If incorrect bank details are provided, the winner is responsible for ensuring the correct details are submitted, and any issues arising from incorrect banking details will not be the responsibility of Aera NZ.
The winner will be required to provide proof of identity and the Sales and Purchase Agreement to Aera NZ upon request.
Within the Promotion Period there is one (1) $25,000 prize on offer.
The winner must provide their lawyers details to Aera NZ for the prize transfer. If incorrect bank details are provided, the winner is responsible for ensuring the correct details are submitted, and any issues arising from incorrect banking details will not be the responsibility of Aera NZ.
The winner will be required to provide proof of identity and the Sales and Purchase Agreement to Aera NZ upon request.
Taxation
The winner is responsible for any tax implications arising from winning the prize and should seek independent financial advice before accepting the prize.
GENERAL TERMS
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the promotion.
By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or acts in a manner that the Promoter deems disruptive to the integrity of the Promotion.
Any entries that are incomplete, incorrect, misleading or do not meet the eligibility requirements may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.
